Best Zelda/Evenescance movie I've ever seen

I must say I was impressed, I've imagined the same sort of idea with this song as well, but haven't had the time to make a movie for it myself.

However was slow in some parts (but that's to be expected when you have a lot of time to fill), especially at the finale, a bit more fighting would have made it better rather than suddenly cutting in with the band part (great job with the drums btw) then back to fighting.

But overall you did good, loved the Wind Waker homage at the end!

VicHD responds:

I know I should've added a bit more fighting at the end, but I didn't want to overdo that scene. I prferred to show certain highlights of the fight and focus more on the band because I didn't have enough inspiration for the fight itself. I was working more on drama than action in this one, which was all I needed to express the mood of the song.

I sometimes have a habit of rushing a project when I spend too much time working on it, due to either writer's block or because of life related events that get in the way, but at the end I think of it as a good thing.

The fight scene I created was made to reference 3 Zelda games of the whole series:
A Link to the Past--> The final Boss battle.
Ocarina of Time--> Zelda Trapped in a floating crystal.
The Wind Waker-->Ganon turned to stone by the Master Sword.

Thanks for the review.

Well, it's an improvement

Still a bit slow paced, but it's definately funnier. Nice job with the triangle fast fwd part.

I'll be waiting for the next part

SaintShun responds:

Well, i have submited few things to the portal so...

It pains me to say it

I thought before watching the 2nd episode I'd watch this first.

I really don't like saying it to a fellow MG fan, but I didn't like it much. It was slow-paced and nearly an identical copy of the intro. While I did get a few small laughs out of the jokes, I had a hard time understanding some of the dialogue, you needed more subtitles.

But if it's your first movie then I'll get that go, my first movies weren't exactly award winning either. I still have high hopes for the 2nd part.

SaintShun responds:

i told you not to >=(, anyway what did you expect, i dont have as much as you on this bussiness thou im getting better and Ep02 was started way back also, so ... you will see when episode 3 comes out, anyway thanks for your almost amazing review

I am impressed sir!

boxpilot responds:

This pleases me.

lol, pee

Well I sort of expected this to be a little closer to the source material (the room technicaly doesn't talk to Henry), but it did have a few good jokes that made me laugh. So good job!

DiceP responds:

Lol well there is on part where the room does get possessed..its in Henrys bed room..I think eather the radio or a section in the room itself..i dont remember..but your right, not to that magnatude.I Sort of took that from Amityville horror. I'm glad you found it funny and thanks for watching.

At long last!

Wow it's been so long, I completely forgot about this series, good to see it wan't ditched.

Really good job on the new lip-synch animation and hilarious take on the BM story, but once the brother dropped in it sorta strayed from cracking jokes about the game. It still had it's funny bits though and I hope you do make more of these ones regularly.

Needle responds:

Yea, I'm still trying to work out the dynamics of how to write the optimal SG script. More video game stuff? Less family interaction? It's a crazy balancing act that I admit I haven't quite mastered. I'll do my best to improve, and thanks for watching!

Not bad

The visuals were a little odd, but the actual script was pretty good.

Oh and Easter Egg 2 cracked me up!

bvhj responds:

Thanks!

Good first movie

After reading your 'about me' it's good to know you were willing to actualy put effort into your first movie, very big kudos for that. The movie itself was good, nice job of replicating the Worms experiance, with a touch of Halo.

Now for the bad stuff, the animation and action was really slow paced, even morso than the real Worms. Try things like incresing the frame rate, it'll make the animation smoother. The sound quality was too high, this made the file size waaaay too big, try lowering the sound quality in publish settings, it'll cut the size nearly in half. Also the BG music just stopped halfway through the movie, then started you should fix that, it kills the atmosphere.

But that aside, good job! Keep up the good work!

Jack-Mace responds:

Techneon.. you'll be one of the people ill thank in the credits of my next movie. THANKS FOR THE ADVISE!!!! (i realy aprisiate it).
